Maybe it’s good news for the groomers. It’ll work itself out in the courts. Protecting innocent children from mutilation will be reinstated. And the bat **** crazy clown people will just have to whine about it.

We wouldn’t need to use government to prevent insane procedures on children if these nutty ideologues had any sense.

Is university the only option? Entrepreneurs, self employment are two non conventional options. Colleges have become indoctrination centers, literally.
Leaving the in laws and they said our van looked like we were packing someone up to take to college.

My 8 year old son said something about staying in dorm room.

I told him he will live at home during college if he goes.

    “But dad, everyone does it…”

    Got some training to do.

It's natural for someone to want to move out on their own.
    Stand on their own.

Maybe get him thinking about a place off campus.
And have him visit once a week or something.

Or, maybe get him interested in the trades or something.

The legitimate purpose of government is to protect constituents' rights, especially for people who do not have the power to protect their own rights. These gender nutters brainwash children to try to make them believe nonsense, the result of which, they develope gender delusions they would not have had otherwise. And then that causes them to be easily conned into going along with "gender affirming" treatment abuse.

At 8? Or did you mean 18?

I think I had a conversation with my son like that when he was young. Maybe 10 or 11 where he talked about when he was going to move out. I was like little dude, just enjoy being a kid. Worry about stuff like that after you've had hair on your balls for a few years.

Frankly, if I had a young boy during these times, I'd feel like I'd needed to have a conversation about him keeping his balls.

I hear you. We talked about as we’re driving.

“But what if I want to go to Pensacola?”

He’s talking about Pensacola Christian College where lots of folks from our church go to.

That would be acceptable. They have a more hands on approach, chaperones, structure etc.

But I told him who knows what PCC would look like in a decade.

Asked him if I thought it was not wise to send him to public school, would it be wise to send him off to a public college?

    He agreed it did not.

I did tell him if he wanted to go to Bible College for ministry, that that would be different.

I’m pushing for (leading him) to eventually go to Purdue downtown Indy for an A.I. Engineering degree.

He can live at home and commute to classes.

While pushing my daughter, who wants to be a nurse, to go to IU downtown.

But if either one of them wants to be apart of the family business (insurance, marketing, software company), then they’re more than welcome.

They can work for me during college as well.

Have real world degrees that will be beneficial to them and society, no matter what happens in the future.

But I’m not going to spend 18 years protecting them from the world to just throw them in the with the wolves from ages 18-22.

And I’ll be paying for their college, so I have a little extra leverage :)

You are right and I’ve realized that 10-12 years ago when I weighted the decision, college, being socialized….. all pale in comparison to the damage schools are doing to children and teens currently. And even kids fear being socialized as an excuse, I would love to have that problem in comparison. There are so many organized home school communities and even if not, there are so many better and more real ways to socialize kids these days without exposing them to the indoctrination. Kudos for you guys to keep homeschooling after Covid, I regret not doing that with mine.
The socialization aspect was a major concern (not during covid lol) but as it turned out *many* other families have done the exact same thing we did, in droves. I suspect that with the current indoctrination insanity the numbers will continue to grow. There are quite a few co-ops / groups out there that have regular events for the kids. (and like minded parents) Between that, sports & scouting we barely have time to do any more! The 12yr old in me is jealous lol, I grew up in cook county pub schools & it was a terrible experience. I can't even imagine what its like now over there :n00b:

10-12 years ago my mindset was that I didn’t want to make that decision for them. In hindsight, even worse than the socialist agenda is the loss of critical thinking skills and imo critical thinking skills are better than any formal education.

Good point. These days they want to hide from differing opinions rather than learning to challenge ideas.

I agree with that. And reading and writing at a high level is a major contributor to critical thinking skills.

Learned a while back that learning to use your “figure it out muscle” is one of the keys to success.

Today’s formal education trains future worker bees.

Go back and see why public education was started and the Uber rich wanting compliant workers.

They have been trying to dismantle critical thinking since before the Industrial Revolution (imo) they don’t want a revolt against the establishment trying to control them.

I agree and even communist countries like china wand their students to at least know basic math skills. On top of dismantling our critical thinking skills. Here they are also dumbing us down by not reaching basic math skills.

Love this thought process and especially the early discussion. So many kids roll through their "upbringing" totally clueless as to a plan for after HS.

Maybe add the early option for the youth to pay for their own housing away from home?

The best way to stop the sudden wave of adolescent transgender suicide ideation is for nutty gender ideologues to stop gaslighting them and convincing them they have a problems they don't actually have.
    Or call their bluff

Is this like the 80 year old black grandmothers who don't drive? Just how many actual suicides have there been? And is anyone counting the suicides of the early adopters who realize they have ravaged their bodies for nothing?

Can't figure out what they want to do after high school, but they really know they are the wrong gender and need to permanently screw their body up to "fix" it.
