Going to guess Gen 5 Glock 17 size slide on a Glock 19 frame. Pistol will be “modular” like the G43/G48 line. Maybe they will trim down their offerings and phase out the Gen3 and Gen4.

phase out the Gen3 and Gen4.

They won't phase out the Gen3 until it either falls off The List in California or The List goes away all together. The Gen 3 is the only CA-legal Glock so far. That's probably enough market to justify the continuation. Plus - they still sell new Gen 3 guns all over the rest of the country, too.

Yep. I just like my G3. Wife has hinted that she wants a 19 (she really likes shooting mine) and I'd go G3. They are great.

I always wondered why the 3's never went away. I had no idea west coast commies were keeping it going.

"Big announcement" and 10mm don't seem compatible. 10mm seems to be a small niche market.

10mm is not for the common man/woman.

Cost being a big issue for many. Recoil being another for the feint of wrist. If you shy away from a snappy 40 you will :faint: from a solid full house 10mm.....:):

Glock will finally ditch all the useless aesthetics and produce a simply utilitarian form of pistol.

Now I like shooting the 10mm a whole lot more than 40. I think the 40 has a totally different recoil

    I'd actually be happy with a thinner, single-stack, 10+1, Glock 21 or 41 sized .45 acp...
They already have all the dimensions with the Glock 36 and all they would need to do is just stretch it a bit?

I have a G29 the small frame 10mm. Unsure why I had to have it.. but, it has been fired about 8 times.. that’s it.

Anyone else remember the last BIG announcement was the Glock id Website!? *yawn

Yeah, Glock has been pretty bad at "big announcements". If I recall correctly gen 5 and the g43 just kind of leaked and dribbled out.

The hyped announcements where the g42, and glock website nonsense.
