The only thin our WalMart has is 300 round boxes of Winchester Super X for $40+/box. They have been sitting there for several weeks. Doesn't look like they've sold any.
Are those the "retro" looking Yellow Boxes? If so, I can't see why somebody would want to spend the $40+tax on those when the 325rd boxes of Federal Automatch are frequently on the same shelves for like $22.

I can reload 50rds if 124 or 147gr 9mm for $9. If 9mm gets close to that I'll buy it. Not until then.
I'm still working off of inventory that enables me to load for the same money. If I have to buy primers at inflated prices, a box will go up to $12.50 or $0.25/round. The last factory stuff I bought was $0.32/round which is my ceiling price now.

I'll continue to pick up factory rounds when I can score $0.32/round until primer supplies loosen up. Or at least until I feel I have an adequate amount of ammo at home.

I have thousands of primers I picked up before the madness hit.
Also after it hit I stock piled reloading supplies instead of buying ammunition before the prices went up. It's paid off.

Did the same. Still loading 124 gr JHP for a bit less than 12 cents each. Sold some primers on AL for "inflated" (aka going) prices months ago. Not likely to see 12 cent rounds anytime soon, if ever.

12 cents is a distant memory. My current 9mm load cost with plated 115 gr or 124 gr RN bullets is 24 cents based on what I have purchased in recent months.

I've got around 13k primers to go before I have to pay the big bucks for them. I've also slowed down on my shooting. Now it's around 100rds of meaningful shooting per month per caliber except 22lr.
