And has the added benefit, for leftists, of screwing over the next administration and or a republican congress.
As soon as the election is over they will return to their normal. He'll have emptied out or SPR and oil prices will go way up along with fuel costs, and a shortage of diesel fuel means a very bad winter.

Selling petroleum from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is just another dumb-a$$ ploy by that idiot Biden to get votes from the poor Democrats that support those idiots. Same with the college loan forgiveness. Just more examples of the Democrats turning this country into a socialist state. God, please save America from these idiots?
And the idiot doesn't understand that in the absence of support for existing refinery capacity, and support for increasing it, such a release will do NOTHING for things like our critical shortage of diesel and home heating fuel

I guess I should really not be surprised at someone who spent 50 years in government being such a willing tool

See you at Nuremberg 2.0, Joe

If you don't want to watch it all start at 4:00.

Groceries went up about 15% from yesterday in our area. Was buying things that are needed most when the diesel runs dry.

What is diesel price where you are?
    It's $5.60 a gallon I'm Milan.
I just bought some diesel today in Georgetown. $5.59/gal and that's off road diesel. Could have gotten taxed diesel cheaper in Louisville, but that's 20 miles to save a few bucks.

87 at this station was 4.299 and was the cheapest I saw yesterday. The highest was 4.499. 93 used to be $.60 - .80 above 87 but now a buck more…why ? Glad I am not farming any more using thousands of gallons of diesel or worst case scenario of needing it but none available. We are truly going to be in a world of hurt if things don’t change and fast.

Given 1/3 of the global LNG fleet is sitting in EU ports...fully loaded(being used for storage) the "problem" seems to be a massively created on purpose one(likely so blame can continue for Russia or say to change leadership in a few EU states or...well Great Britain).
Another avoidable crisis with the motive being profit or as pointed out(by me) leadership changes in the EU.

    Top Ten Shopping List?

What have you identified as grocery items that will be impacted most when the trucks stop running?
    Not in any particular order.

Flour white, and whole wheat, and yeast. Freeze flour for ever and it stays good, except whole wheat it will maybe last a year in freezer. Yeast will last a long time if kept in freezer. Around 3 months for yeast. Don't by more yeast than you'll use in 3 months, and make sure you use it.

Your favorite cooking oil, and shortening, baking soda. Baking soda can be substituted for yeast it will raise bread also.

Flaxseed meal. It can be substituted for eggs in some recipes.

Canned goods you like. Fish, vegetables, fruit etc.

    Dried beans, rice, and oatmeal.

    Peanut butter,

Salt, black pepper, and other spices you use.

Fresh meats you like. Wrap it properly, and Freeze it. Another item that needs to be used over time.

Coffee, and or tea, and other drink mixes you like.

    Paper goods.

That's off the top of my head.

Well that will be fun filling up the F-350. For ****s sake.

I have had to make sure it has been parked inside all summer. When prices really went up in the spring someone siphoned every drop out of it at night.

Carbs are easy to store. rice/flour can last years in properly sealed dry storage. Never tried freezing it. If you don't have chickens/rabbits, what is the easiest source of protein to store? canned tuna?
