Anyone remember, under Trump, how we were trying to negotiate ways to raise the price of oil because it was dropping so low that it was hurting American oil harvesting?

    ...Yeah, I miss those days.
Also ships setting in harbors full because we had no where else to store it. These will be tall tales to tell the grandchildren. FJBLGB

Everything around me jumped 30 cents today to $4.30.Kroger was at $3.99
Had .30 cents off at Kroger for my first 35 gallons at $3.70.
Went in for a few more things, bought a $200.00 Lowes gift card for double the fuel points and got it for $3.50 for another 35 gallons. Those Lowes gift cards help crank up Kroger points.

Not to mention, trying to suppose that someone that can only afford a beat up used car would be able to offset their expenses by buying a $60k electric car is absolutely insane.

This is why I continue to say the leftists have a point when they claim there's a class problem. People in the upper classes can't comprehend choosing between fuel to go to work or groceries for that month, they think telling those people to buy a $60k electric car is acceptable.

Surprised to see $3.99 held all weekend in Elkhart. I'm sure by this afternoon it will jacked up again.

I went to fill up my gas cans with ethanol free gas over the weekend. I didn't even look at the price when I started filling cans. It was $4.29. That's 50 cents cheaper than the premium I put in car last week. I've never seen ethanol free be cheaper than premium. Looks like the Audi is gonna be giving up alcohol.

Wheat is moving higher a little...but we can handle it for Ukraine right? I mean what is a 50% increase in a day really going to do to food prices anyway(136% since January 1)? Click image you can not see the whole chart.
3/7/2022 Europe and Asian markets(will hit the USA on the opening bell).

I spent $80.00 this morning to get a half tank, cost $176.00 to fill it up. The Excursion has a 44 gallon tank and a very thirsty V10.

This is absolute ****ing insanity, we are led by psychotic people who would rather burn it all down than open a damn pipeline.
Millionaires (like most politicians are) and billionaires do not feel inflation at the pump or the grocery as acutely as the regular people do

A ten percent increase in prices hurts someone making 10x as much money as us like a one percent increase would feel to us in better days

Someone making 100x what we do will only notice it in the performance of their investments and the cost to run the private jet

Truck fuel is over $5.00 a gallon!

Fuel Surcharge adjusts every Monday. Get ready to really take it in the wallet. Looking at over $1.00 a mile FSC.

With my discount I was paying about $350.00 round trip. It’s over $650.00 the shipper has to increase FSC to make up the difference.

The leftists ARE the class problem. Who do you think makes up the cheerleading section for everything 0Biden is doing. People who work from home, and have done so all through the lockdowns, have no sympathy for the pinch of rising gas prices or the damage done to small business by the lockdowns they insisted on. I doubt they even understand the hypocrisy of pretending to decrease their carbon footprint while relying on 2 day delivery from Amazon - as if those planes don't burn fuel or that a train and truck based delivery system is not several times more efficient

I can't read your mind, but you often sound like you want to believe them when they claim they are for the little people. You need to think about who will have to pay for subsidized housing and free tuition, and then maybe go to the former socialist countries and see how the pensioners live. I predict you will not want your future constrained to only what the government can or is willing to give you when your usefulness is diminished

Notice how the CNBC headline is already propagandizing that it is the Ukraine war that is causing inflation and a faltering economy, not the Democrat's terrible governing for the last year

Now wait just a cotton pickin' minute. I've been working from home since the lockdowns and I assure you I have sympathy for both individuals and small businesses. And I never insisted on anything. And just because I'm working from home doesn't mean I don't feel the pinch at the gas station, grocery stores, etc.. Need to narrow that brush a bit Bug...
