Finally bought a Glock. It jammed!! Any advice?

Here's a pic of the stovepipe jam. Classic.
I think I'll try running it through the dishwasher to see if that helps.
I know how to handle .45, so I know I wasn't limp-wristing it.
What else ya got?

Sorry JetGirl, but judging by the quality of that plastic, I'd say you bought a Hi-Point. Was the pistol purchased in a private sale? I say you return it and just buy a M1911 like the one pictured below

You need to put black velcro on it. That makes it twice as tacticool and won't jam. Oh, and you also need to color fill the letters. Lol. Yes, I own multiple Glocks.

It's all the "PURPLE" you impose into your shooting. We've been indoctrinated to understand purple is a joke. Maybe if you go back to earth tones you won't have all these problems.
On a side note....I do know where a Purple G19 is that's for sale. Cool pattern on the slide. Right up your alley and comes with factory Tupperware and monkey wrench.

I'm thinkin a pharmacist would tell you a Para or Dan Wesson or something is the right Glock for you. That brick with a 2x4 attached profile is just not ergonomic.

I can't help ya with the jam, but that clear mag is pretty sweet! I would have guessed that would have been a double stack based on the width, but it looks like the boolits are in a single file line.
