FFL Alert from ATF - Beech Grove FFL Burglarized

Apparently they recovered a "large number" of the stolen guns in a duffel bag in a house on the east side (shocker!). The guns still had BGF price tags on them. Just heard the story on WTHR but don't see it on their website.

Beech Grove police recover guns stolen

Police say they've now recovered a large number of the guns stolen from Beech Grove Firearms.

So is it a safe assumption that with the quick arrest that they found fingerprints and those fingerprints were already on file?

Ok I guess I was wrong (maybe). Why would you steal a car for the entry of the store but use your own as the get away?

Can think of a few reasons.

A, The ramming could make it undrivable (often does)
B, You dont get your getaway in the targets cameras (They forgot about the bowling alley cams, thats how they got em)
C, Cart parts aren't left behind from your getaway that could be traced (Don't laugh, they found where the Ryder truck in he Oklahoma Bombing came from by some obscure serial off some part)

Different that a gun pulled off someone going to the hospital.
Or that was evidence, but released.

They have 2 of them so far, one juvi and one adult. Adults will face federal charges.

I saw on the news, they were looking for four perps total, 2 in custody, one being a Juvi.

I doubt they've heard the term NFA much less know how to spell it. I'm glad headway is being made on this case. Kudos to the process so far.
