Is that for using the stolen vehicle to facilitate another felony, or actually stealing the firearms? And at least a 3 day wait period

You're free to require that from people. I'm free to tell you to pound sand.IF your doing a private transaction, always, ask for an ID/LTCH and take a pic of it NEXT to the firearm serial number you're buying, for your safety and peace of mind reasons.
Gangbangers in Chicago needed guns.Back to the subject: stolen vehicle, crashed through a security gate, firearms stolen.
All of that sounds pretty illegal to me. But if we had universal background checks… None of this would’ve happened!
Purple as needed…

Seriously.. any gun store that doesn't have serious bollards set up as pickets for the front door is asking for trouble, and I don't mean the ones bolted down. I mean the ones set down IN the ground..
Looks like they got the revolvers and assorted 9mm pistols

On street view they do have big ol concrete planters. Just... not in front of the door.Every gun store should have several of these out front, disguised as planter boxes or topiaries. It would be fun to see these idiots decide they could ram through them and find out they were wrong.

Yep. this not only isnt unique, its almost ALWAYS how they get in. I cant remember the last gun store burglary that didnt go this way:Thats a little like having two locks and a deadbolt on a screendoor, isn't it?
Might be on Friday.Kind of curious where the On Patrol Live crew was during this incident
The Colt New Service/M1917 is still there too.But they left all the valuable lugers and p38s ... definitely looking for guns to sell in Chicago, not valuable collectors items.
