    To be involved with TRW and working with people like Bill Jenkins would have been a dream job for me.
    I had every plan to retire from them, but it wasn't in the cards. After many years working for TRW, Federal-Mogul bought us, and things weren't the same. Though I did stay on for a few more years with F-M.

    I used to have breakfast with Warren Johnson every year at the U.S. Nationals. Great guy. Kurt Johnson was cool also. We sponsored Joe Amato's Top Fuel dragster so we worked with him quite a bit. He was okay. Seemed a little like a gangster to me, lol. Don Garlits was a cool guy, easy to approach and willing to give you a minute. John Force as great as he was/is used to walk into our tent like he was a king. Most of us didn't like him personally and one of my peers got reamed out by one of our top dogs when he called John a redneck. It was funny.

    I have so many fun stories of working races during my time with TRW and some F-M. It was a dream job.
