    The body work on some of those old altered wheelbase cars was top shelf. A dual quad Hemi in the front sure did not hurt anything either.

    Also note the single circuit master cylinder. Stopping on a drag car is a lesser priority. Some would keep the front drums even if discs were available to save weight, you only needed to stop once, so no one worried about brake fade from heat build up.

    I was always a fan of Bill Jenkins. As a kid I had posters of his Camaro's in my room(along with Farrah Fawcett's,lol) and later in life while working for TRW I interacted with him while covering contingency requirements with the race teams.
    To be involved with TRW and working with people like Bill Jenkins would have been a dream job for me.
