So, I'm to believe your chicken stripes are skinny. I don't SAY anything ...

Ever been out Mulholland from Topanga to PCH? I did it on friend's 1100 and I was pretty slow because unfamiliar with the bike, which was a top heavy freight train that I didn't want to wreck, and unfamiliar with the details of the road. But I wasn't there to set a record I was there to enjoy myself

Ever done the Tail? Too famous, too crowded with people that are too slow, IMO. They also have a right to just enjoy themselves so I try not to judge but I am not noted for my patience. If you're down in that area, try NC63 from Wilshire Park, on the west side of Asheville, to NC209 in Trust and then a couple miles north to Dave's 209

Not as long as the Tail nor as well maintained, but less crowded and pretty much all locals, and more fun because of that. Not saying you won't get breezed. Equally fun in a capable car
Never done the Tail for reasons you've sighted. I did ride the PCH from Malibu all the way up to 101 to make a dash over to crater lake. It was basically a Moto Guzzi National Rally held at Leo Carillo State Park and Beach, close to where MASH was filmed. Hit the highway from Indiana to Colorado Springs on the first day. 17 hrs. Then I didnt' touch a highway until I got outside Los Angeles. 10K miles in 3 weeks. Coast all the Way to Seattle then across the great north hitting national/state parks. Been almost 12 years ago now though.

I gave up solo for time trials. Road racing is much more fun. 5 more weeks until this cars second One Lap.
Most of my serious racing was done in someone else's car, as part of a team of drivers for certain races in the Escort Endurance Championship series and the 24 hr at Nelson Ledges as well as some FF (where I just wasn't that fast)

I did get invited to try my hand as a navigator for a friend who seriously rallied. It was terrifying, something about having to rely on other people to have a handle on it and their seeming greater willingness to slide my side of the car at trees and boulders. Never tried it in my own cars. $$$

Then I met my wife and suddenly I was responsible for and to someone other than just myself. Still like to drive fast, though

US 52 from Huntington to almost Virginia is just as fun without the traffic.

Yes. They are almost the same size and will hit the target. I saw a video. I want to convert a gun to shop air, but I don't know if it will still work.
It’s been a while since I was into air guns but as I recall the pressure you get from a Crosman co2 cartridge is something like 850 to 900 psi. I know you can convert co2 guns to use compressed air in special tanks. I don’t know if you could get it to work with shop air though.
