Yup. There are a couple but this one sticks in my mind for exactly this.
Oh, I didn't know there were any other paid ranges nearby. The Linden Conservation Club is basically impossible to hear from, in my experience. There's another but it's NRA members only - I haven't been wanting to give the NRA my dollars for somewhat obvious reasons.

The few times I have done a purposeful range trip I drove an hour up to the range at Jasper-Pulaski park. By time I pay the money to get gas to J-P park, it's at least as much as range fee for a half hour, plus it's an hour each way. The main thing is I could do rifle, pistol, shotgun all at the same time.

    Evening, all.

Couldn’t be better if I stacked the deck myself.

It’s a toasty 73 here as the Mrs. says her meds made her cold. I tell ya - it’s a rough life I have.
My fiance would like that, she's from a subtropical climate. Me, I sweat just sitting still at 72 if wearing jeans. Not sure how the thermostat control will work.

Are you guys taking a break from looking at property.
We looked at a couple yesterday, but nothing popped up today.
The brown truck will be here Monday and signature is required, so I’m betting there will several new properties on Monday. That’s just how it works.

The friend I bought our house from is looking in the Carolinas as his spouse hails from the area. They have made numerous 17 hour turn arounds to look at houses and nothing has grabbed them yet. Seems everything is ammo level priced.

Prices are high and inventory is low.
    it’s a game of patience.

Let me tell you how it will work. She will set the temp. You will complain but you will be smart enough to not change it.
You know that CKW is always cold. So we have the gas log running with the blower and the TV room is 74* and balmy.
The house is about the same but coasting down from the wood stove.
Just tucked her in and turning down the fire. The house will be 66* when we wake up.
Then I build another fire and the cycle repeats.
