...I’d love to do a hike someday with the 716 to see how the single and two point slings work out. That is not something that’s easy to do.

Thanks MM. I gave into peer pressure and have an upper on the way. Slightly different model, but the only one that was in stock. PSA doesn't have the lowers any more it seems, so I may do a build using my Spike's Honey Badger lower that I've had for the last 3 or 4 years. I have a great trigger to put into it and already have a LPK, just need a stock, buffer and better grip.

It’s been a long time since I’ve hunted with any real walking involved but, of what I remember, nothing beats a well worn quality two point leather sling for comfort and stealth. Ymmv

Looks good to me. You won't really find any "deals" on BCM uppers anywhere else.

Spend some time at the BCM website.... reading about their philosophy and their workforce.

Chrome bore and chamber.... like original milspec.
Many small refinements. Something built, checked, rechecked, test fired....and sent to you with full confidence.

Actually if you have one that you recommend I would like to get a good one. As far as I know it is legal in my back yard.

My sling shot has a brace. Are there any current issues about using a brace that we need to know about?

Here ya go CM. Dont mind the gouge, broke an Endmill. Was trying to get it done quick and didnt look over the tool path close enough. She aint much for looks but it’s accurate.
