Big Colt fan here. In my opinion, their quality has dramatically improved over the past several years. Even better, their pricing on new pistols is starting to come in line with what their guns are actually worth. Churchmouse will be along shortly to tell you how full of crap I really am. :):

I bought 9 1911's this year. First was a S&W, next was a Dan Wesson. Then a Springfield. The next 6 were Colt's. A lot of people will bash and try to talk you out of buying one. Fact is even with there financial issues they are putting out some quality 1911's right now.

    So yes , I'm a Colt fan.

Had a guy come into the store the other day with his Dad's Colt Ace .22. He wanted another magazine for it.

I showed him the Colt Ace .22s on Gunbroker and how to get additional magazines for it.

He about $#!% a brick. He had no idea what his gun was worth.

Yes, I have one. It's a 1903 Pocket Hammerless in .32acp, and I absolutely love it.

    Colts!, And a couple Savages.

    Leadeye,
Do I see a couple of Pocket Hammerless models in there? .380 or .32?
Do I also see a couple of Savage 1907's in there? I have one of those in .32acp as well.
    Fun little pistols.

Colt is a very good firearm. Excellent products, customer service/warranty. Prices getting better. I've never minded paying a bit more for a Colt.

Colt hammerless in both 32 and 380, 1902s and Pocket Hammers in 38 ACP, some Savage 1907s along with the revolvers and 1911s.

I've got 12 Colt 1911 variant's, a Government 380, couple 1920-1930's revolvers, a 1917 Colt revolver in 45 ACP, and a SAA in 45 Long Colt. I guess you could call me an addict, no known cure, just keep buying more of them.
