I'm not going to question Ballard's crystal ball at this point.
I figure the player he had wanted or projected to be available isn't there or who he wants he thinks will be available later.
He's done great the last 2 years so let's see how it works out.
Pick #34 is CB Rock Ya-Sin from Temple.
Pick #49 is OLB Ben Banogu from TCU.
All defense so far.
Pat mcafee > reggie Wayne.
Colts.com is listing Tell as a CB, even though he played safety in college. Typo or is that where the Colts plan to play him?
Corner is the position going around the Twitter-verse.
Think what you want of Mel Kiper, but his only job has been evaluating the draft since the 80’s. He only gave one A rating this year, and it was to the Colts. There’s a lot of respect around the league for what Ballard and Co are doing.
How many of Kiper's picks pan out? I looked into him a decade ago and he was wrong on every single suggested pick year after year. I've paid him no attention at all since then.
People that are good at evaluating talent have jobs working for successful teams that consistently put good players on the field. Kiper has never worked for one of those teams afaik.
