Arrived Friday after finding this at a dealer in Missouri online. Took the Holosun and the Olight off the FX9 that I had settled for when the lead times stretched to 20+ weeks from the factory and local shops marked them way up. Saw a MKG9 at the 1500 and I think they wanted $2200. I paid $1399. Took 4 shots to zero at 30ft and was shooting 3/4” groups from stationary brace. About twice as accurate as the FX9. 07437336-FE21-446C-9165-7E7B005BA068.jpeg

I'm a big fan. I have the 8" 10mm and 5" and 8" 9mm. Might be picking up my first .45 1911 soon, so will need a matching Banshee! Can you tell any difference in recoil between the Banshee with the Radial Delayed blowback compared to the FX9? I know they're different calibers, but do you feel like the Banshee system helps with recoil?

In .45 acp...AWESOME! Love the big, fat, slow, heavy round...
Love how people still refer to the .45acp as the 'standard' too...
When they say, "My 9mm will do everything a .45acp will do..."
Well, good for you, so then I guess I'll just buy the 'standard'...

Nice! How's the recoil? I don't have a Banshee, but I have a 9mm carbine that I built using a CMMG RDB barrel and bolt. It's much softer shooting than my old straight blowback gun, and has much less muzzle flip. Seems to me that a .45 using that system would be a real sweetheart...

I’ve been shooting for 50 years and I’m 265 lbs and recoil to me from a 22lr to a 45 is hardly noticeable anymore. With that said, I noticed almost no recoil at all. I have a 9mm pcc FX9 from Freedom Ordance and they feel exactly the same in my opinion. I will say that overall the Banshee is a smooth functioning system. I’ve actually put about 500 rounds of Wolf cheap steel through it, broke it down and cleaned it and ran another 50 Federal HST to test functionality after I broke it down and not a single issue.

I’ve wanted a Banshee in 10mm for a while now, but just don’t have that kinda money laying around. Hopefully I’ll run into one someday as they look like awesome weapons. Hope you enjoy yours.
