    My very favorite line:
So, all I'm saying to you is, we inherited this mess," Clay said.
It's not our fault! I was just a victim! You have to do something to help us!

Man up and take responsibility. You're the mayor for God's sake. *****.

    Where's the bacon?
Gary going broke and the State of Indiana is in a surplus.

For God's sake, SHUT UP!!! If they find out, they'll expect us to spend it all on them! :rolleyesedit:

I like Mitch. I like the fact that he signed into law the Lifetime LTC as well as Castle Doctrine. Too bad so many people are stuck on the DST and toll road (non-) issues.

Sadly, I think that their misplaced priorities are going to end us up with Jill Long Thompson as our next governor- say goodbye to any chance of something(anything!) solidly pro-2A passing if that happens.

    Blessings,
    B

Yeah...... we've got people who would rather see us in bankruptcy and have higher taxes just so that they don't have to make their kids go to bed when it's still light out (aka BE a parent) or reset their clocks. :rolleyesedit:

Maybe we do need a minimum competency test to vote!!!!

I wouldn't count Mitch out quite yet, though...... :patriot:

    not in Indy
Am I the only one that likes Mitch?

    Nope, I like Mitch!

It's refreshing to see our governor do something for a change.

He doesn't have many supporters up here in the north side of the state,
but like the previous poster said, don't count him out.

I've heard that, by law, the Indiana state budget must be balanced
every year and not show a deficit.
I don't know how the previous governors were able to run "in the red"
    like they did.

The toll road is a still a topic around here.
I think it was a good move.
If someone starts complaining about it I just ask them how
they would like their Powerball jackpot: all at once or
    spread out over 75 years?
