Has anybody fished the tailwaters recently? I am going to take my 3wt down tomorrow morning and try it out. Any words of advice as I have never been there before. Can't think of a better way of starting a long weekend than throwing some loops.

I ended up hoking several fish but only got one to hand. Trout once hooked spend about 25 percent of the time in the water and the rest of the time airborne. I am looking forward to a return trip. There were a few others fly fishing but everyone was catch and release that I seen. This was good practice for when I visit my father inlaw who lives in northern Maine. The little orvis 3wt was awesome with 5x tippet.

It's a nice place to go when you live in IN and are desperate to go trout fishing. I usually go during the week and it is seldom crowded at all. Just wish they could stock more tailwaters in IN.
