Black Licorice ***** love it or hate it??

I'm a big fan of black licorice. I found some black licorice tea and tried it. It's really good. But talking to folks there seems to be strictly a love/hate relationship with it.

So I figured I'd see what INGO has to say about this.

If you do like it, what food, drink flavors have you found?


(Knowing INGO, I better say let's not get this thread into the political side of black licorice. I don't even know what that would be but let's not go there. You've been warned)

I don't like black licorice, but ironically I do like Jagermeister which also tastes a lot like it. Maybe if black licorice had the same effect as Ouzo or Jagermeister I might soften my view.

I think my dad did too. But he also liked limburger cheese, tongue, souse and headcheese, so there's that...

I've had some tea that tasted like black licorice, not a fan. Licorice candy, just ok... used to love the old fashioned red licorice though.

Right?? Now I will say that while Dad would crumble bleu cheese on his salad and I thought it smelled like feet when I was a kid and made me want to gag, I have come to like it. Maybe it's an old man kinda thing.
