Looking at taking a self defense course at either point blank Carmel or Indy arms on keystone. Does anyone have experience with either of these two classes. Thank you very much
I’ve taken tactical handgun 1 and 2 at Indy Arms Co. Tac 1 was very basic and kind of boring, Tac 2 was more engaging and what I was looking for in a training class. I think they were worth the money. You also might look at MALC Training in Edinburg. They’ve got a wide variety of classes that most training places can’t or won’t offer. Things like shooting inside a vehicle and long range shooting. Anyone can sign up for classes but they are also affiliated with a group called CCRT (civilian crisis response team) and give good discounts and even free classes to those members. I think the membership for CCRT is $199 a year and for that you get a free pass to attend defensive handgun 1, defensive shotgun 1, defensive rifle 1, I believe a first aid class and a couple others. It’s worth a look if you’re looking for classes.
