Battle comp brakes with halo

Does anyone know if the BC brake 2.0 work with the older style gemtech halo (pre 2008 change or was it 2009?)?

I'm not sure which model HALO shooter521 has, but I've used my 2.0 with his and it worked just fine.

Cory this picture might help give you a rough idea.

IIRC the top is a 14.5" barrel with pinned flash hider.

The bottom is my 10.5" Noveske with HALO. Now the BC isn't installed in that picture but it shouldn't matter because the BC has the same dimensions as the A2 birdcage (thus why it can be used with the HALO in the first place).

You don't RC. Top rifle is a 16" barrel with a Smith DC Comp (same OAL as their Vortex flash hider).

The HALO adds about 5.5" to the length of the gun.
