I believe it can in non-violent terms. We must stand up to our government! We must peacefully show them that we will not tolerate our rights being denied and we will not comply!

We must call
We must email
We must be peaceful and present in meetings...township, school board, city, county, state & federal meetings.
We must be willing to sit in their office and peacefully but firmly express our dissatisfaction.
We must be willing to work hard and donate much to those candidates who will help protect our freedoms and then vote for those candidates.
We must be willing to be active in our state governments so they, in turn, can put pressure on the federal government to leave us alone.
We must be willing to take every legal and non-violent political step possible before we talk about anything else.

If people would have some courage to stand up and do this, I believe that a great deal of the shenanigans going on would disappear. They are rolling over Americans because Americans are not providing them any resistance.

This next part is my personal opinion, so you get what you paid for.....

I believe that many of those who are discussing violence at this stage are lazy. They think it will take a week or month and one group will roll over the other group. No pain, no effort, no expense, no sacrifice. They think they can get through this thing mostly unscathed. They don't want to spend the time, money or effort it would take to keep things peaceful. In their minds the violence would be so much easier because they are so convinced of their superiority. Life is never that simple or easy. Just like our previous conflicts, international forces will come into play. Our founding fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to each other in defense of this fledgling country. How can we do anything less? Some will quickly pledge their lives....but fall short on pledging their fortunes and sacred honor as well.

Study history and look at our countries last violent civil conflict. It was a massive bloody event that stretched out over years. There were entire towns were almost every single male was killed in battle. And this time the division of North vs South will not be that clear. It will be neighbor against neighbor. The battles will not be in far off areas, but it will be among our homes, involving our children, family and friends. Why are some so willing to shed their loved ones blood?

It is time to choose. Which would you rather sacrifice? The blood and lives of those you love? OR Would you like to give a peaceful option a chance? It will be harder, take more work, take more time, and require different (and often more difficult) sacrifices. You just have to man up and do it. I, myself, will not throw the lives of others away so flippantly or carelessly and will work every peaceful option available.
