Built my own concrete bridge from the ground up with only outside help was my friends came over when it wasn't possible to get something done by me by myself.

I don't usually do much hired out work because I'm covered up at my real job 7 days a week and a lot of 12 hour days but ya never know, if it's close to the house and the money is right...

Fenway, this is a great idea. All members should and need to support our other members in these bad economic times. I'll print a list. I've already found some services that I can and will use.

I'm also a writer, primarily on a contractual basis.

I've got a bit of experience with newspaper and magazines, as well as marketing materials -- which probably applies more here with businesses.

I've done logo design, brochure work, press releases and newsletters -- from copy writing, layout and design all the way to the print shop. I've also been involved with planning full product launches, but my expertise is really in the writing and design area.

I'm familiar with most design/publishing software -- Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, QuarkXPress -- and I'm currently a contributing editor with a niche publication of the Northwest Indiana Times, as well as a student at Purdue (Professional Writing / Creative Writing double major, Psychology minor -- graduating in May).

Currently located in West Lafayette, Ind.

I'm an experienced welder with mild steel(Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacture - Columbus, IN) for a little over 2.5 years up to last wed. I also work on my own cars, so you can consider me for general wrenching on cars.

I could use some extra cash as of lately until I find something else steady.

I'm an experianced Computer builder/troubleshooter. No certifications, but I worked at FoxConn as an HP Computer Tech and have been messing with computers most of my life starting with the Commadore 64. (Real old computers) I've been building systems for family and friends for a few years now and am frequently called on to fix/upgrade/troubleshoot/setup systems and networks.

I'm doing this on appointment as I have a crazy schedule. I could really use the money and if you pay gas fee's I will make house calls to most of Indiana. I'm located near Indy's new Airport.

    Realestate brokers...

Grumpe and myself are both brokers and can help with home sales(4.5% that is ONLY for INgunowners...please do not advertise that rate to everyone you know). We can also help with home purchasing. Grumpe has her own company "Indiana REO Homes". She deals with many banks selling foreclosed and short sell properties(ie sales that are usually 30-60% below the properties assesed value). If it is a realestate need we can probably help.Grumpe has been doing REO homes for 9 years or so.I have been doing this for around 5 years.

I am a classically trained chef with 30 years exp. I did a 15 year chefs apprenticeship and I am fluent in all aspects and styles of food preparation. The economy has hit my industry hard and I am currently not working. If you were to need someone to help you with a small catering job wedding or party. I am your man. I have extensive exp. doing dinner party's in peoples homes. I can design menus to fit most budgets. I am also available as a personal chef or to teach if there were something you wish to learn how to do. (I could also possibly do large catering jobs if given ample advance notice where I could find a facility to work out of.)..JC

    Application Development:
    I have 12 + years professional experience as a computer programmer/systems analyst/app developer/corporate geek.

For most of the past 9 years, that has been concentrated on developing web applications from web pages to database for internal corporate use.

    My technology strengths are:

    ASP.NET (Mostly C#, some VB.NET)
    Classic ASP
    Oracle 7 through 10g
    SQL Server 2000
    HTML
    JavaScript
    CSS2
    XML

I have worked with many other technologies (including COBOL and JCL), but those listed above are what I have used frequently and recently.

Not looking for any big projects right now, but if you have a small web page you need, or if you need other development help, PM me and I'll see if I can help you out or point you in the right direction.

I also have a good amount of knowledge in computers, building, buying, etc. If you've got a project that needs PCs, I can help with what you need and how to get the best bang for your buck. $399 at Rat-Mart or $3099 at the Mac Store, or anywhere in between. Spending too little for your needs is as bad as spending too much for your wallet.
