Im slowly Adding things to my ar and ordered a Utg 1in riser mount for my scope. It delivered but does not fit snugly. After looking at others it seems a lot of risers have this problem. Anyone know of a specific riser I can order where I won't have this problem?

That's the problem with buying low priced (cheap) accessories such as UTG

At a minimum (cost and quality) look at the offerings from Yankee Hill Machine.

We carry Burris mini-risers at the shop, and I have found them to be very loose on a number of different flat-top receivers. I simply install them, then put them in a padded vise and squeeze them ever so slightly, then crank the screws down. The Burris risers have a slot in the middle to allow them to expand and contract, so no damage is done. Perhaps the UTG risers are of similar design?
