AR Lower Build Group

I have very little ability in the ways of building things. Is anyone patient enough to teach an AR lower building class? Do these pop up from time to time? Am I in the wrong forum?

There have been a couple "build parties" in the Indy area. You may want to watch for the next one. I know Columbus isn't exactly in the neighborhood, but its not all that far away either.

I'm down in Seymour. I've built 1 lower, so that doesn't qualify me as an expert, but I can say that if you are at all mechanically inclined, you can put it together. Here are the instructions I followed. :: Guides

That being said, I would have been much more comfortable completing it with others around, just in case I messed up or was about too.

If a build party doesn't come up any time soon, I could probably try to help you, although I don't have any of the special tools. I used some punches I already had, a ball peen hammer, and a wood block and got mine together just fine.

If you are down in Seymour at all, stop in at Acme sports on Tipton St. (Hwy 50) near the State Police Post. The guys in there are very helpful, and could probably help you if you got into a pinch.
