Oh why not. This was my backup carbine that I gave to my son. 14.5” pinned Adams Arms mid-length piston upper on a complete BCM lower. So trigger is the boring but reliable BCM PNT. AimPoint Pro with MBUS Pro for sights. It has been a rather utilitarian carbine, never given me any problems.

New PSA H&R Retro Model 653 with some period gear. We had a variety of CAR-15's in the Ranger Bn's in the early 80's to include XM177's, GAU's and the Model 653's.

Looks nice . . . the rest of us during that era were using the M16A2 with some units still running the M16A1. I remember the old canvas ammo pouches . . . including the ones for 20-round mags when we were still using 20-round mags in the late 1970's. I still have the ALICE circa 1985 battle rattle.

Home build. Got the upper in a trade from a member here on ingo.
Here's my 7.62x39 ar build. Or ar47 as I call it. Not sure on this handguard. Still need to decide between lpvo or red dot and magnifier. Still need to get the binary trigger for it. But it'll do for now.

I am using the PA GLX 2X for my Galils. Might want to consider.

This is my AR-15A3 Police Carbine set up as an M4A1 clone. The only thing that's "wrong" about it is the lack of a fun switch and the grip - which has since been swapped out for an A2 grip. My gunsmith pinned and welded the barrel so good you can't even see it unless you know EXACTLY where to look and have good light.

This is a different Colt AR-15 set up in a muuuch more modern config, EoTech EXPS-3 with a unity flip to center magnifier. Oh, and a PEQ-15 that gets moved around a lot by virtue of the fact that Im not a guntuber and can't afford more than one XD
