    Yea - I'm not that desperate yet. :naughty:

    Although, There is this cute Blonde Knotty Pine down the road that I've had my eye on. She's one sturdy gal with an enormous trunk and as dumb as a board. I don't think I'd get past her boyfriend though. He's built like an Oak.

    And besides...Splinters Hurt. :eek:

    Darn, wish I would have seen this thread a week ago!! It would have clued me in sooner, to "tapping time".

    Tried one tree for the first time last spring. Was a bit late in the season for it, but hey it was my first time :n00b: and I made about a quart of syrup.

    SOoooo, tapped THREE today! After 1 hour, had 1.5" in each bag.
    Multiple quarts here we come...
