I knew the day would come, but I really hoped it wouldn't be this soon.

I hope I'm misunderstanding this or that indiana state law will still allow us our rights but I'm definitely no lawyer.

If Brandon can screw something up, he will certainly do it. That’s going to end up costing an extra $75-$100 per transaction. When is it going into affect?

No certainty on it yet but from the video it sounds like second half of next year.

Better start buying what you want to keep forever that you don't currently own now just in case.

No disrespect to you gents, but talk like this is the beginning of the anti's winning. :xmad:

Don't be assuming it's a given that this will happen. Or that we will allow it to.

What is the first step to confiscation?

You are totally correct, at this time Indiana law doesn't require any documentation to sell a firearm via private sale. That's the only reason I made my original comment, because there is no way of knowing who you are selling to.
What makes you think I need "to make sure he's not a felon"?

It is not my duty to know if they are allowed to buy something. It is only my duty to not knowingly sell to a non proper person.

Congrats you are pushing anti 2a arguments for them.

You do realize, don't you, that there is zero enforcement capability for this? There are more than 400 million firearms in circulation in private ownership, with zero provenance. Only firearms purchased through FFLs, after this would take effect, could the government even possibly prove that a private transfer took place without an FFL.

That's why they are building a registry.

Remember the only reason you monitor something is because you want to control it.

Oh yeah. Start panic buying again.
I wouldn't say that's what I meant but I see why it came off that way.

If I were panic buying I'd buy anything I could get my hands on. I'm looking for a couple very specific things and that's really it.

But yeah poor wording on my part I guess. Better than telling people not to buy any firearms at all though, maybe?

    :):

True. This will be a big nothing burger. Even building on the previous EOs, he has no ability to do what has been said.

Buy guns when you find the one(s) you want at a price you are willing to pay.
