Almost go thrown in jail

Went in my local police station to report some found ideas -Dispatch asked what I found. I said I found a 9MM two clip and a new box of shells in the city dumpster, Anyone that can identifies them, you know where I live. That brought the chief out of his office," You have to bring them in for we can run the serial numbers in case it was stolen." I said " that's ok I checked it over twice, there isn't any serial numbers on anything" Thats when he ordered me out to my car to bring everything in. When I got back in the chief and another officer had come out from behind their glass wall. Handed him the box!! Thens when he opened it and said" I should throw you in jail just for being stupid" -----My reply was" But it is a new 9MM someone must be missing it!!. Waited a year for this one --- Police chief is retiring next month. No chance for him to get even!

Retired from the city when chief took office. Always on me about retirement and how hard he works . at 70 you have to put a little fun in your life. send him into Retirement with a good jab was worth it.

That would be a long, fearful ride back to the Fort, while trapped in your vehicle. I would opt to take a bus, on the off chance the aroma would be less pungent.
