Not sure what her motivations are. I would not care having lived that long. If it really mattered do it way before now.

Records were only unsealed in '08, IIRC. But she found them in 2010. Not sure why it took her that long to file the petition.

Of course, I don't get the whole "Clear my name" mentality either. A man's word is no longer of any value IMO.

Used to be your word was enough. Not so much anymore.

My word holds value and I believe those who know me feel the same. I don't hold men (or women) with much regard if theirs doesn't. Gone are the days where an assumption could be made that a man's word meant something but that hasn't erased the reality.

I care. I would not overturn...if she wants to reopen the case then maybe we should put her on death row.

She was convicted for Assisting a Criminal not for being a Communist or spying but for Perjury to a grand jury. No different than Alger Hiss's perjury.
