Make you wonder how this would have been handled if the shooter was a white guy, that they could have somehow implied a white supremist?

Not necessarily. They have photos of him that doesn't mean they know who he is or where he is.

Have they given out a description?

Maybe they know who the shooter is and are keeping quiet, hoping he pops his head up.

They have photos of him, no idea if they've released them or not.

And yep, that is quite possible. Chances are this won't be his first brush with the law and they know they are going to run into him sooner or later.

Eh. Couple years ago somebody came in, shot up a trap house, robbed it, and lit out of town. Got away clean, never found.

Bloomington isn't that big. You can be far away, fast. Little 500 attracts scum from all over the region.
