What can I say, it's shiny.
No throwing of stones from me.
I bought a Ruger Single 10 when I was browsing in a shop 3 weeks ago & bought it just b/c it was shiny & I already had a Ruger Single 6 that was awesome, but I just had to try out a 10 round cylinder. :dunno:

    Today was so much fun!
I had a Beretta M9-22 & nothing else at the indoor range today.
Tristan/Aeroflyer was telling me 2 yrs ago not to take 4-6 guns to the range, & I'm just starting to "get it."

I had an M9-22 over 2 yrs ago & sold it, only to regret it b/c I enjoyed shooting it, but felt like I should trim.
Zachcz bought one last week & b/c of his kitchen remodel, hadn't been able to sneak away to try it out.
Being his friend, I volunteered to help him out & take it myself, haha!

It seems to be more accurate than the one I had.
I put 105 rds through each of the 2 mags: 14 mags of 15 rounds each.
Not one problem in using 7 brands of ammo EXCEPT for Remington Golden Bullets had a FTL 4/15 times.
2nd mag I only had 1/15 issues using the Golden Bullets.
They are hollow points, but so were the Armscor that had no issue.

I forgot to take a close up of both sides of gun like I do.

I know I had to twist your arm so much to have you shoot it. I’m just glad it made the return trip home and you didn’t try to swap it for a Walther sp22

    :lmfao:That is hilarious!
I wish I'd have thought of that
    &
put the SP22 in your car
    &
slipped the M9-22 under the seat when I returned it. :):
It would have been fun to have gotten your call saying I'd returned the wrong gun
    &
I'd tell you I sold it at the range b/c I knew you wouldn't keep it
    &
    I was keeping 10% for a commission.
    :rockwoot:
I had so much fun with it, shooting w/o flaw (except for Rem. Golden Bullets).
And, to be able to shoot a gun I wish I'd kept was cool but torturous.
You got an over-the-top great deal with 6 mags included!!!
    I'm envious! :crying:

Took two Beretta M9-22 pistols to the range today.
I bought two in the same hour.
After enjoying Zack's M9-22 last week I searched to find one.
Zack was willing to sell me his but since his came with additional Hogue grips & 4 extra mags, it was going to cost more than I wanted to pay.
    I made a counter offer.
I didn't hear back from him & assumed he was sticking with his price.
Later, I found out he didn't see my counter offer & he agreed to it when he did see it.
At that time, I'd just bought another I'd found. :ugh:

I had told the other guy I'd buy his, but he would have let me out of the deal
when I mentioned my offer on Zack's had been accepted.
He told me 3 other guys had backed out on him, so I certainly wasn't going to be the 4th.
Even though he said he was OK with it, I told him I'd honor my word since I told him I'd take it & did so.
Since Zack got back with me too late, I wasn't obligated to buy his, but I like buying guns from him & didn't want to back out on him since he had accepted my counter.
I think Zack was surprised I went ahead & bought his also, but I told him I didn't mind having both to play with.

It is my idea of fun to have two of the same gun to compare with at the range.
I only used Aguila Super Extra HV today.
Next time I'll take CCI SV & a couple other brands to uncover the differences between the two.

    Zack's M9-22 is 1z (later called Z1) on the top 2 rows.
The bottom 2 rows are called #2.
Zack 83% vs #2 gun at 92% on 1.75" circles.
#2 is getting more rounds in the circles but Zack's has some tighter groups.
    Range 09.02.2021 Both on 16 targets 1.75 in cirles.jpg

On these 2 targets I could not see the X center marked since I had no optic. :oldwise:
I just tried to hit where I thought the center (X) was. :dunno:
#2 once again had a higher number.
    20 rounds on each target.
Range 09.02.2021 Both with 2 large circles with numbered circles.jpg

    More of the same here.
Could be I'm the X factor between these two guns.
Going to be hard to decide which to keep & which to sell.
    10 rounds on each target.

Picked up another SW Victory this week just for fun, I've had 3-4 in the past. :dunno:
4th handgun bought this week: reminds me of what life was like Pre-Covid. :rockwoot:

I bought this one b/c it came with a scope & I wanted to see if it shot like my other scoped pistols I now have.
If it does better, I could sell something on my "keeper" list.
If it only shoots the same, it just gives me another choice, and therefore, the fun! :woot:

I was repositioning the scope at this point.

I feel like half the story is missing here
What Zackcz is referring to is that this "new" Victory I bought only had 20 rounds put through it, but it would not eject a spent round 4 of 5 times.
It would extract a shell, but not expel it.
Zachcz told me to drop it off on my way home from the range & I was glad to do so since he said he'd had that same experience with a Victory before, evidently not an unknown issue.
Later that evening he told me he had put a couple hundreds rounds through it that I'd given him for that purpose.

I was so grateful that Zach knew about such things & very cool that it was fixed before the evening was out. :ingo:
Just 1 of the ancillary benefits of membership here: HELP.

I remember when I first joined INGO, someone came over to the house & I spent a couple of hours being tutored on how to disassemble & clean & lube a gun.
I've had many people over the years get together with me to help improve my safety, how to hold a gun, where to order parts, ammo, targets & the like.

doddg, can't recall if you ever tried out a TC Contender. But with a scope it is most likely the most accurate handgun I have owned. Will have to have a shootoff wit it and my Ruger Charger with KIDD barrel.
