    Thanks to the Allen for hosting and all the instructors that made it possible to teach us. I'd never taken my 1911's that far apart and it was great having such knowledgeable help there to fix my mistakes.


    Added a threaded barrel, barrel link and link pin. Sig barrel required no fitment which was very nice.

    Added a C&S match trigger kit and a new safety. Dropped the pull from a mushy 7 pounds to 4.6 and much more crisp.

    Thanks for making this happen. I learned a ton and now appreciate the 1911 even more.

    Added the EGW ignition kit which took the trigger pull to 2.3lbs which was way to light for my skill level so had to add some weight back to the pull. Left with a 3.7lbs pull and a crystal clean break.

    I just wanted to put out for those that changed their trigger components when you head to the range start out with two rounds and then work your way up to test it out.
