      Cabelas has a Vortex viper HS long range 4-16×44 dead hold bdc 30 mm rifle scope for 349.99. How good of a deal is this I'm looking for a scope for my 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun. Mainly shoot steel plates out to 500 yards, and a little deer hunting. Would this be a good scope for that?

      I'm looking for an optic for my Ruger AR 556. I have it narrowed down to either a Vortex Strike Eagle 1 X 6 or an Ai point pro. I know the aim point has no magnification, but I'm having trouble deciding. Should I go for a red dot or a 1 X 6 scope with an illuminated reticle?

      Abate Boogie

      Has anyone been to the Abate Boogie before? I'm thinking about going this year. I don't wanna go if it gets too out of hand. I have been to Hog Rock in Illinois It was a really good time. I didn't see any fights and the music was very good. Any reports on the Boogie would be appreciated.
