I am pretty sure that if we leave them alone, Israel can handle this and anything else Iran might try. It can’t make. Jordan too happy that some of irans drones went through their airspace.

Iran says it will not hesitate to take further “defensive measures” to protect its interests against any military aggression, the Iranian foreign ministry says in a statement.

“Iran, if necessary, will not hesitate to take further defensive measures to safeguard its legitimate interests against any military aggressions and unlawful use of force,” it says, according to state TV, “while reaffirming its commitment to the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.”

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says in a statement, “I strongly condemn the serious escalation represented by the large-scale attack launched on Israel by the Islamic Republic of Iran this evening. I call for an immediate cessation of these hostilities.”

“I am deeply alarmed about the very real danger of a devastating region-wide escalation. I urge all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid any action that could lead to major military confrontations on multiple fronts in the Middle East.”

“I have repeatedly stressed that neither the region nor the world can afford another war.”

Maybe because they had to do something, but this way all the drones get knocked down and they don't elevate the crisis?

    Yup.
They look like they did something, but they're counting on the international community to stop Israel from retaliating, since no one was killed.

Like a small man yelling, you BETTER run away.

If this is their attack, they had to know most of them would be shot down. Seems like it could be just for Internal consumption in Iran. “Look we did something and then to,d them they better not hit back”.
The Shahids are almost certainly for little purpose other than depleting munitions and trying to saturate defenses. Israel reportedly has fighters in the air (good luck to whoever is in charge of deconflicting that mess!) shooting them down air-to-air on top of the air defenses. A Shahid has the radar return and speed/altitude characteristics of a Cessna, they're easy to pick up and shoot down. It's just a question of how many times you're equipped to do it.

Iran is in big trouble now! :lol2:

Doubt that happens at the UN. China and Russia both have the ability to veto, so someone at the UN will likely put out a press release(personal) and the media will lap it up as the "UN" said. That has happened many times already, for many decades.

USA was the over ridding vote on condemning Israel for the past 30 years or so.
