They may flop around too much hanging on chain, depending upon how big your plates are.

Fast boolit make hole in steel. Also bring spray paint.
    All the above +
I prefer cheap rattle can white paint because you're going to knock it off anyway. You can see the target and hits better whether irons or red dots.

Have a way to angle them down and away so they spawl down, not back.

Went to rural king to buy cattle panels. I just threw these in the cart when I saw the wife coming my way with a box with turkeys in it. :ugh:
I am going to start out hanging between 2 angled down chains. I have some decent 3/8 chain and these are 1/2” plates. May have to play around with chain different chain lengths? Bought 2, so if it doesn’t settle down, I can shoot at other. lol.
Straight out the gate I’m going with factory orange, but white does sound like the way to go. Don’t think I can really get an angle out of chain hang way? I think the hang mount may allow give to go that way. I’ll have to get some cardboard around it to do a splatter zone test? Looks like hanging gives a little more life to plates with allowing give while hit. Thinking mid to low on plate will splatter down, have to see about high on plate?
Bunch of fence and other things to do, hope to maybe get a chance to test it all out today/soon… Thanks all!
