    • Yes, that data of 2.390 is in the Hornady Service Rifle load book. I was handed this manual by Kevin at Camp Perry. I would be glad to scan the page and email it to you if you need it..
As long as you are planning on loading long, use the same load that you would use for the 75 BTHP. What powder are you planning on using? I use 24.1 of RE15. Varget is 23.5 grains but velocity is lower than RE15. I tell you, I am REALLY worried that you are going to try to load the AMAX to magazine length. This is really dangerous and not recommended no matter the powder charge.
The 75 AMAX is a totally different animal from the 75 BTHP. Because of the plastic tip, they should be loaded to an OAL length of 2.390. They cannot be loaded to magazine length because they take up too much of the case capacity. Use the same load that you use for the 75 BTHP but seat them long to keep pressure under control. I also use both bullets. I use the AMAX at 500 and 600 yards. Great performance.
Thanks for the rep. 77's are totally different because of a totally different bullet profile compared to the 69 and 75.
If he did, it was after I was gone... I was killing time waiting for Mrs. Wales get back to town.

I generally lay low... as unbelievable as it may seem, some folks find my opinions disagreeable.

Hope you enjoyed the fare there... One of the best little restaurants in the area!

      Good to say hello.
Thanks for the rep, and yeah I too found it amusing. They'll post anything to get by.
Thanks for the rep... Next year, IU fans will expect to win and the rushing of the court should subside or not exist at all.
