Wow, just stumbled upon this thread. My folks live in the house my great great great grandparents built in 1883. Can't wait to show some of this to Dad and see if the nervous tic comes back. LOL

Cattle prices are the highest they've been in a while and it's expected to stay that way for a few years as producers start building their herds back up. '24 prices are expected to be higher than last year. 2022 was a tough year for cattlemen as they were culling herds due to drought.

Thanks for that link! I have a lantern that the FiL gave us. Looks like it's never been used, but the mantles are disintegrated. The warranty card is still in the box and it has a 1972 date on it. I'm assuming all the rings, leather and misc gaskets need to be replaced.
I take at least 1 Luci Light with me on every trip in addition to my head lamp. It's part of my base load and then I add various light sources from there.
