Ordered materials this morning to make a custom fixture designed specifically for milling optics cuts on slides. It will be a 6"x12"x1" 6061 aluminum plate that will mount directly to my rotary table. If it comes out the way I want, it will allow me to mill just about any slide for just about any optic I want, while making the set up and overall time drastically less. This idea started after a few people asked about the Holosun K series optic cut, which involves cutting a curve at the front and rear of the footprint (stupid design). I've done that specific cut on several occasions and it was very time consuming on my manual mill (CNC mill not so much!). I will start a separate thread on this little project, so stay tuned!

I did some research. Evidently the P229 Blue Pirranha was a Lew Horton limited edition gun from 2015. They only made (500) of them.
Where is mine ?

I have a Jericho that I want to get cerkoted. This gives me ideas. I had kept going back and forth between like a burnt bronze, Navy Blue, Titanium, and a few other colors. It is going to be two tone, just because I like that look.

Yep, announced last month: https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone...3-for-1-split-means-to-investors/72423843007/ real effect is that it should make individual shares more affordable though company market cap remains the same. That said, should drive interest by more tiers of investors theoretically.

Great range trip with Reesespieces, the Wizard and others. Took my P-01, 75 Compact, Shadow 2 Compact and P-07 to shoot. Too many nice triggers to choose from.

Went out shed hunting, snow has dropped enough that I can get around without slipping.

Spent a couple hours at the range today on my day off shooting the Rock Island double stack 1911 shooting it side-by-side with a prodigy Rock Island kicked the prodigy butt in every area. I was kind of shocked, especially considering the price difference d I did try a new to me CZ p10. Took the shark out just to show a friend the Saracco job it’s a site to be seen in the sun. I don’t do pictures as well. It needs to have a photo shoot sometime with you all in your fancy cameras.
