First off, I am not driving.

Back to the subject, we just saw four cars pulled over between 10th St. and 38th St. on the west side. Three were unmarked, and only one of the cars pulled over, looked like a car that would get you pulled over… It was an orange challenger.

The one marked police car… Beech Grove! They are a little ways from the grove by my calculations.
Kelly, I must have driven through there at the same time you did because I saw the exact same thing coming back to Brownsburg from Ace Hardware at Washington and Lynhurst.

If the traffic was moving along at a steady 58MPH? That would be a yes! This afternoon when we came back south on 465 it was the standard "I'm doing 65 and everyone is passing me."

If you drive 70 on 465 you’d better be driving defensively because there will be cars zooming past you on both sides! 55, forget it! The worst offenders seem to be driving beat up **** boxes with a donut spare on at least one corner or Charger/Challenger/Mustang zooming in and out of traffic like a life sized Bumper Cars ride!
I’ve seen the Po Po with an officer or two atop the 56th St bridge with his detection equipment clocking speeders and then radioing to the half dozen chase cars to go get em!
I enjoy driving fast but usually just try to stay with the flow of traffic anymore, unless in a hurry. Even when I was a bit more throttle happy I never drove dangerously like these idiots do!
OMG, I am just an old Boomer now!!! :dunno: :coffee:

    North of you
Just drove up here to northern Michigan. According to my calculations, my average speed was 88 mph.
Depends where you went, but traffic on US-131 is usually flowing around 80-85. North of Grand Rapids when the limit changes to 75, people regularly go 85-90. US-31 is flowing around 80 until you get north of Holland. Then people go 85+. Speed limit is 70, and I usually hold around 78 and I get passed like I’m standing still.

I’ve watched them pass on the right, swerve in front so close I lost sight of their trunk, and continue on over into the left lane with no pause to see if anybody was passing me on the left. I try to just cruise the right lane and drive a reasonable speed, and I try to avoid 465 at all in my personal vehicle!

The best one of those I saw happened right in front of me. Dude was crossing 3 lanes of traffic right to left on I70EB right in front of Lilly HQ, and blew my doors off as he passed and quickly got in front of me on the way to the right lane. I was in the middle lane behind an old double axle dump truck.

Dude misjudged our speed and was apparently looking over his left shoulder the whole time because WHAM! right into the back of the old dump truck. He swerved a bit and I saw the dump driver look in his rear view and tap the brakes. as bits of plastic started coming out from under his car.

Dude in the now damaged car panicked, swerved left, and floored it to get away.

It apparently wasnt the truck drivers first rodeo because I think he just shrugged and kept going. He probably realized that the dude couldnt have possibly done any damage to his truck. Because the car went left onto 65/70N and the dumptruck went south on 65 like it never happened.

And yeah, There wasnt so much as a scratch on the trucks back end. :lmfao:

The stupid on 465 and around Indy is at an all-time high and getting worse. Bunch of brain-dead morons playing a real-world game of Death Race. It’s absolutely nuts.

5-10 years ago I would not have hesitated to flip the middle finger or put two wheels in their lane to show my dissatisfaction. Not anymore. Crazy ****ers’ fuses are too short these days.

I’ve seen them several times in that area this month. Three or four working together but they were all marked.

I meant the officer was driving the mini van. Obviously I failed miserably at getting that across lol.
The officer was in a mini van? I’ve never seen that, I’m not sure I’d pull over, I might call the cops to make sure? Can you do that?

I went down past Indy today to pick up my new gun. (from a fellow INGO member)
I was speeding on 465... and I was just about the slowest vehicle there. They were zipping by me like nothing.
