Concrete, plumbing, electrical, forced sewer.....I've done it all......but I can honestly say......when your sitting with 2 fire engines and a ladder truck, hooked to a fire hydrant, and it's O DARK THIRTY....and your sitting in DA HOOD.....and now the street is a skating rink.....you appreciate people, who check their gas plumbing for leaks, don't screw pennies behind fuses- "cause those fuses are expensive!!! they cut into the ganja (budget$$) man!!!!"....(actually heard this with just 1 fire engine hooked to a hydrant). In fact, that call was another cake taker.

SO.......furnace not working......don't have money for furnace to get repaired.......SO......we go buy 6 electric space heaters.......The fuses keep blowing, trailer factory brother in law, "electrician", say just put pennies behind the breakers.....SO they don't blow!!! gives us more money for the GANJA!! that one cord going to the back bedroom, getting kind of hot......SO.....we run it out the window.....SO.....it cool down before going into the heater.......MORE MONEY FOR THE GANJA!!!!!!...... NOW......SO......we looking for a new house......ya.....a new house......maybe this one have a working furnace........and....we need a new TV and couch.....cause the last ones, carried out by the fire department not working so well.....

YA can't fix stupid, and you gots to have the GANJA!!!! cause it make it ALL BETTER!!!!! So....this is why you pay a guy, who knows how to work with concrete, so your slab doesn't start cracking, which causes the walls to settle and crack.

I’ve done a lot of stuff, but as I age I’m catching on to the idea of spending money to let someone do it right, instead of insisting I do it myself.

Concrete was an easy one to make that decision on though!

Oh.....good morning......CZers!!!! :coffee: :coffee: Think this was the last weekly allergy shot dose....hopefully
we go to just monthly......snot nose pediatrician offices suck this time of year......cause of all those snot
nose kids going to the doctors office. Years ago....you could get trained on how to do the shots on your
kids AT HOME!!!! So....less sickos you had to deal with. Then, along came a ganja idiot.....then I'm sure lawyers got involved, some thing with the word of MALPRACTICE was printed.....so.....I get to enjoy going to that germ infested office, (that hasn't had a thorough cleaning, in months).
Please don’t hold back, tell us how you really feel. :stickpoke: You just can’t fix stupid people….
Glad to hear the surgery went well, ChrisK!!! I know that ice regiment can be a pain. I hope they gave you that circulation knee wrap with the cooler, those things are the bomb!!

I ran down to HHRP this morning to relax a bit. I sighted in a Sig RXP P229 9mm slide over a P229 .40 frame, tested the new .357 Sig reloads, had some fun with a Uberti SAA, ran a Taurus 941 after doing some trigger polish work and got some practice in with a P229 Legion and P226, both in .357 Sig and finally, got to run a CZ 1911A1 for a bit.

It was a great day with about 2 hours of range time

Started my day early dropping the dog off at his groomer.

Then dropped a few things off for @DaMousesGirl and saw @CKW. Her wrist is doing better but not where she would like to be, however she did say her therapist is pleased with her progress. She says hi to all and is looking forward to the SGE! (Me too!)

Also swung by AllenM and dropped off a slide to mill for a RDS. Visited a few west side gun stores to see what could be seen.

    Now I’m pooped!

You didn’t forget the dog, did you? Or do you pick him back up when Allen’s done?

    Welp..."Acute Bronchitis" is the call.

Gonna be on some heavy doses of Anti-Bio's & even Prednisone...yippeee.!

I'll get back with you to let cha all in on the gory details.

Thank you all for the prayers also - now let's be kicking this crap to the curb, shall we...??
I just got done with prednisone and I'm working on my 8 day of Augmentin. Dr gave me 14 days worth.

At least you went in quicker than I did. I was trying to tough it out.

Thats a nice price, PSA had them on clearance for that. Wish I had picked one up. Spending $ on upgrades at the moment.

I do not need another pistol right now, I do not need another pistol right now, I do not need another pistol right now…
I don’t know whether to love it or laugh at it, but I’m in the same place.
