    S&W owns Crimson Trace
Yeah, I just haven't looked into Crimson Trace as far as red dot optics. Last time I looked info anything Crimson Trace was back in the days when lasers were quasi popular. I know S&W did a bunch of built into the frames with those as well.

That explains my love for my up-to-now daily carry, Legion SAO.

ETA I’m just really digging the trigger and the accuracy of the CZ’s now.

I carried my Legion P226 SAO for a couple of years before I decided that I wanted to go to striker fired guns with no decocker or manual safety. I thought it carried perfectly well and I shot that gun extremely well. I loved it, but needed money back in the day and sold it to a friend of mine. At least I still have visitation rights... :):

Yep. The only thing keeping me from buying it is the fact that I dislike M&P triggers. Even moving to an Apex trigger doesn't fix the main problem of a completely sh*tty reset. I like a very short, very tactile reset and you just don't get that in an M&P.

:+1: I really don't like M&P triggers all that much either. Best thing S&W could have ever done was put the Gen1 Shield trigger in their entire lineup. But they didn't do that. So, they remain on my poopy list.

I was a M&P fan before I meet this group.

As a matter of fact, the semi-auto gun I have with the most rounds is a Gen 1 M&P. Fantastic Apex trigger.

    BUT

to this day SW doesn’t make an M&P with a reset that isn’t an embarrassment to the brand.

I had the 1st gen Shield and loved the trigger in it. I assumed the other M&P lineup was similar. Im glad that I know differently now.

I had a Walther PPS M2 in the past. Shot it well, liked the trigger. Sold it to buy my PCR. If Walther comes out with a high capacity OR micro 9 I would take a serious look.
