Reminds me of a Rogers. Cool!I posted this in the firearms deals thread, but some here might be interested. Classic Firearms is blowing out the Tisas Bantam in .45 for $599 (normal online price everywhere has been $900-$1000). It's a sexy gun.

Tisas doesn't mean quality it means "Trabzon Silah Sanayi AŞ"Same thing I thought.
They also make a Stingray in 9mm, but it's a different style altogether. Still kinda neat, if a person likes the snake skin rear serrations.

That's a very healthy attitude, and one I'm still working on developing.I'll be honest, I am always about learning more. I am one of those that prefers someone show me, or help me do something the first time. So taking a training class makes sense to me.
I am comfortable enough in myself to be able to say, I don't know or I don't think I would be a good one to teach my wife. I think she needs someone else. I might take the basic pistol with her, but I might not, if she would be more comfortable without me standing around. It will all depend on her.
That does sound like the reputation of Huglus I've read on the interwebz.[...] using shotguns with holes in the barrels (patched with aluminum cans held on with twisted wire).
Good Morning : My Lil PeepHoles
it is a whole 11 degrees here in Des Moines.
That outta stop your breath upon walking outside.
Will warm to a chilly 30 and drop like a rock again this evening
just in time to watch that super lighted parade.
Clear skies and a bit of wind (*50 mph last night*)
Should be a good show.!
The only Turkish gun I own or would own would be the caniks. I grabbed the tp9sa when it was first in the us market.. I love shooting that gun."The United States has its own firearm standards, voluntary standards at that, but they are still published standards. In Europe, we have the C.I.P. body of standards for firearms, standards that more or less carry the force of law, yet can be ignored in shipments to the United States, which is not a CIP signatory. The standards for Turkish product are dubious, for Turkey is not part of the C.I.P. nor need they pay any attention to SAAMI voluntary standards. The “cooperative” type of company, as in Turkey, often has piece-workers and the person that is supposed to be in charge of quality control is sometimes the same person making the part. This is not an environment that is conducive to consistency or quality."

TP9 series is awesome. One of the best triggers on a striker fired gun ever. I have a TP9SF Elite and it's a very nice gun for the money. The only Turkish gun I own or would own would be the caniks. I grabbed the tp9sa when it was first in the us market.. I love shooting that gun.
