Dad with his blood clot scare last year has decided to start gradually thinning the herd to make sure the proper firearms go the the people he chooses. Bittersweet for sure.

New to this house:

His 1st firearm: Mossberg 195K-A shotgun 12 ga (hell, that spare mag is the only one I know in existence that I bought for him a few years ago that cost more that the original purchase price of the gun).

Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited .357

Beretta Xtrema 2 rifled barrel with scope and the rifles assembly for righties (he's a lefty).

Kid received the unfired Marlin 1897-1997 Century Limited .22lr

Well make that three now because I have a mossberg 195k that was given to me by my ex-father in law. Numrich has the magazines in stock right now for $36.62. They are aftermarket though. Not sure if that matters for shooting.

Well make that three now because I have a mossberg 195k that was given to me by my ex-father in law. Numrich has the magazines in stock right now for $36.62. They are aftermarket though. Not sure if that matters for shooting.

Not sure. He wanted the OEM magazine he thought he dropped in the cow pen chasing coons. I found one about 8 years ago from a recommendation from a vendor at a gun show, after months of hunting, to search online on the back corner of the internet. It was $35 w/ shipping. It was one of those gifts you wouldn't buy for yourself. He asked the price and I said it was what it was, Merry Christmas!
