Saw Lethal Weapon 4 last night. Enjoyed the Garrote scene.
Wah Sing Ku, the main bad guy had the below skills:

    Powers / Skills

    Martial arts mastery
    Incredible durability
    Agility
    Deception
    Garrote proficiency
    Surprising endurance

For some reason reminded me of INGO.

Dad with his blood clot scare last year has decided to start gradually thinning the herd to make sure the proper firearms go the the people he chooses. Bittersweet for sure.

    New to this house:

His 1st firearm: Mossberg 195K-A shotgun 12 ga (hell, that spare mag is the only one I know in existence that I bought for him a few years ago that cost more that the original purchase price of the gun).

    Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited .357

Beretta Xtrema 2 rifled barrel with scope and the rifles assembly for righties (he's a lefty).

Kid received the unfired Marlin 1897-1997 Century Limited .22lr

Nice old 12 ga. They made you think about each shot. Great pics. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

Wow, I just checked the value of an unfired Marlin 1897-1997 Century Limited .22lr. (My nephew is getting the same one this Christmas, but fired. Shhh! He not asking permission.) We may have to have a talk when this 6 year old gets a little older.
He already has a single shot Marlin (with the mark) that he still can't reach quite yet and shoulder, plus a SR22 pistol. I showed him this one today and said when the time is right and he is responsible. The kid also has a 10/22SS takedown, similar to mine, still in storage that he doesn't know about. I ran out the day we brought him home from the hospital, grabbed it, and an BX25 magazine. The dated receipt is in the box for when the time is right.
