Just a note, I just had to put on my mask for the first time in forever.
    Dentist.
Just to walk through the waiting room, then off when I get to the chair.

During the height of this BS I had to see the dentist. Walked in, had a mask In my hand just in case, the receptionist said you don't need to put it on, those masks don't do anything. They're made to protect us from blood spatter.

That was the only time I would've worn one and that's because I was in pain.

My doctor's office still requires them, so I keep one in the door pocket of my car just for them (I get a monthly shot there). Sounds like your dentist is a sensible person.

My dentist did the same thing for a brief period and then dropped it. They laugh at it now.

However the hygienists and dentists wear a mask and/or shield while working on teeth, just like they have for a long time.

I had to wear the mask about 10 seconds. I'm not looking for a new dentist for that.
I've been going there 30 years, and REALLY don't want to find another.

Same here. I really like my dental care team and if they were to get silly and want me to wear a mask for 10 seconds(they won't), pfft, I would do it. They are that good and I would be out literally nothing.

Easy to find another store or whatever.
But dentist and/or doctor... no way. I keep them forever.
Any time I go to see my general doc, I worry he's retired.

To be honest, I haven't thought about Covid anything (other than seeing it brought up here) for many months. It's just not even on my radar anymore.
I haven’t thought much of covid (with concerns of catching it) since about June 2020. My concerns these days are the ground it laid for future liberty robbing actions of our government and especially the Republican’s willingness to go along with it all.

I did tell them they were the ONLY people that seemed to be doing it.
    Not the same.

When I went to a Dr that had a stupid requirement I waited outside. Generally I did not wear one when I went in and they never said anything. My neurologist asked me why I wouldn't wear one, and I told her it was stupid and pretty much did nothing. She is still wearing one and it isn't a N95.

I went to my new dentist yesterday. No mask required.

There was an old Karen that walked in with a mask. She complained about a dog left in a car. Windows were down enough the little guy could have hopped out. She kept going on and on about it. I am sure that she left her kids in the car when she was younger. I know my folks did. It was normal.

Anyway, masks were worn by the dentist and hygienist when they were working on me, that's it. So glad I dropped the last office that I had been going to for over 30 years. They decided to start checking blood pressure as soon as you walked in, Then one person laughed and said she has refused to work on people if they had too high pressure.

Not following the correct procedures to checking and then actually laughing about it. I said that's enough. I left and pulled the family away as well. They called and I told them the reason. Deaf ears and all that.

Oh they made you wear a mask until they got you in the chair as well.

Well, except for putting the mask on, and then immediately taking it off.

No thanks. I think the last time I wore one was when I was in the hospital last November. They actually made you wear one while they wheeled you around the halls. :n00b:

GRM board has a whole string of vax'd people getting Covid. And some are still clinging to the belief that the vax stops the spread. One, who has it right now, admitted he's going to go back o wearing a mask. Isn't that like closing the barn door AFTER all the animals are out?

They have been indoctrinated and no amount of facts will change their set minds.

That was evident when I corrected someone that NI was longer lasting protection than vax. That brought out the anti-vax comments and it got locked because people are assholes. They don't want the truth or facts.
