These are sad times DD. Being able to have pizza delivered to your home is a real thing.I'm done ordering pizza for delivery. Domino's never has drivers available, and I just tried to order from Papa John's and it was going to be 90 minutes (optimistically) for delivery so I canceled that order. Why don't these places just be honest and stop ordering delivery as an option?
Our local Domino's used to be awesome pre-Covid. When the gubmint started paying people to stay home, that was the effective end of reliable pizza delivery.I can't remember the last time I ordered delivery. Why pay a surcharge and a tip for cold pizza?
Or adults! They just can't get kids to work.
It was for the granddaughter tonight. I mean... Think of the children! I guess this rant could have just as easily been posted in the First World Problems thread, but dang. These are sad times DD. Being able to have pizza delivered to your home is a real thing.
It sounds like they already thought of the children and saved her from Domino's or Pappa John's.It was for the granddaughter tonight. I mean... Think of the children! I guess this rant could have just as easily been posted in the First World Problems thread, but dang.
I wouldn’t consider either places as a place that serves pizza, call Arnie’s on 135 carry out and pick it up. For us it is a lot betterI'm done ordering pizza for delivery. Not when you (we the tax payers) pay them more to stay at home! They just can't get kids to work.
I remember that. The good ole days. There was a time when Dominos had a 30 minute delivery promise; or the pizza was free! Back in the day!
