This will be the competition at the range today. We will see what comes out on top or if any really separate themselves from the other. Walther is probably leader in the clubhouse before heading out. Hopefully the sig doesn’t disappoint.

Will put more detailed pics and info in the range report thread but from 9-10 yds I’m shooting 1.3”-1.7” groups.

Little over hundred rounds through it. Zero malfunctions. Initial thought is I like it a lot and Taurus may have a challenger finally after three years

I want a full detailed report with pics. :coffee:
Use at least small 2" circles as targets, maybe even smaller since you're a better shot freehand than I am on a rest, haha!
Prefer it if you convert results to comparative raw numbers or even percentages so I don't have to! :lmfao:
Your results will determine how much in a hurry I'll be to try one out or even if I'll bother.
It is a Sig & a .22LR, so that does put it at the top of the list for the hunt.
    I had a Sig 226-22, that I enjoyed.
It just resold recently in the Classifieds.
I even put new rear sights on it.
I just picked up a Sig 250-22 DAO this week to revisit my fondness for the one I sold in 2018.

Took zachcz's Sig P322 to the range today.
I wasn't impressed with the trigger, but I had too high of expectations from the reviews.
You really have to be careful loading so the 20 rds stack properly.
I had nearly 1 FTL each mag b/c of that & I was trying to be very careful.

I was all ready to get in line to buy the Sig 322, but after shooting one: I'll pass.
It's a fine "plinker" but not unique enough for me to want another polymer.
I usually gravitate toward a heavier metal handgun.

I actually like both the Sig 226-22 I had for awhile & a Sig 250-22 DAO I currently enjoy better than the "feel" of the 322.
The 322 reminds me of the Taurus TX, which I've enjoyed shooting 3-4 belonging to friends.
I never bought one b/c it wasn't unique enough & I liked what I had better.

    Shot 440 rds total.
Took 40 rds getting the Romeo red dot dialed in to suit me.
    Used 10 brands of ammo.
I used Federal AutoMatch ammo to sight it in since that is one of Zach's favorites.
On the 1st round of a row of 4 circles, Armscor got the lowest with 17/20 = 85%
    but,
    when I did a repeat on the last sheet I did 20/20 = 100%.
Just shows you I'm the X factor.
But, I always blame the ammo for doing a flyer, haha!
A really fun day at the range!!!

Yeah I was hoping that the trigger was up to the level mentioned earlier in the thread. I also found the review where the tester was raving about the trigger. I'll still probably get one when the frenzy subsides. With a red dot it should still be a lot more accurate for me than my LCPII or 22 PPK/S , both in 22 lr. One of the reasons I did not get a Glock 44 was no optics ready slide. The P322 probably still has the toy-like feel but it will be different enough from anything else I have.

Oh definitely going to get one once it's no longer the big new Pistol out. 20+1 that's just to much fun to not buy one.

When stacked right, there will be a slight angle upwards of all rounds.
I would do the normal things like pulling the tab beside the follower on the side of the magazine only far enough to insert 1 round, not pulling it way down & dropping the round into the magazine.

Something I learned to do when you get your mag is 1/2 full:
    - pull the tab all the way down then turn the magazine upside down & hopefully they will
fall "lined up" properly, then bring the tab up to the last round (which is the 1st one put into the magazine), then continue putting more rounds into mag.
I sometimes would turn it upside down a couple of times while loading mag.
I rarely shot an entire magazine w/o a failure to load.
When I would check, the next round would be angled down.
3 times I had a stovepipe in a magazine with a round that didn't load.
I had 15/440 failures to load.
Had 2 magazines with no failures of any kind.
5 times there was just 1 FTL with a magazine.
2 times there were 2 FTL with a magazine.
2 times there were 3 FTL with a magazine.
(math doesn't add up above but I'm going to bed, haha!)

Despite my best efforts the pics below show a loading error.
It leads to a FTL (load) since the angle of the round will not be angled up, therefore not lined up to enter the chamber.

The first round on top of the follower is correct, but rounds 2-6 are not.
They are angled down or just horizontal.
    4.25.2022 mag 1 not right.jpg

This started out badly & as I attempted to take some rounds out & start over, I humorously ended up here as I tried turning mag upside down to get rounds to load/angle properly. :wallbash:
    4.25.2022 mag 2 not right.jpg

This is the top view, but after I'd cleared the other horizontals beside this one. :ugh:

It was also my experience the the LCP2 & the PPK/S were not very accurate.
The Glock 44 did better, but not enough to for me to keep mine that I bought new, which I rarely buy anything new.
I actually liked the "feel" of the Glock 44 better than this Sig 322.
I get you with your remark, "but it will be different enough" being a good reason to have a another gun in the safe, haha!
