Any of the Ruger P-series I have (especially the P89)
    "Ugly"
    "Heavy"
    "Old"
    (Maybe they were describing me?)

    Also:
    Accurate enough
    Inexpensive
    Unerringly reliable with ANY ammo
Right there with you ........I have 2 of the P95`s .
They were built like tanks .........( as big as ,and as heavy as one )
Not many like them , but it is hard to find a bad review on one .

a friend has one of those. nifty lil gun.

9mm is as low as i want to go. but if i find a good deal on a bersa i'll snag it
My first gun was a Bersa Thunder UC 9. Honestly it hasn't been all that reliable. I do still have it for sentimental reasons but I rarely shoot it.

I have several of the P89, P93, P94 (including one with the integral factory laser) and P95, all in the DC flavor. Got the first one back in the early 90s, when there weren't so many choices. Cheapest was a P94DC police turn-in with night sights, $180.

Tanfoglio Witness in God’s caliber (45 ACP)

was over 20 years old when I bought it and looked to have never been cleaned. CZ clone, not as tight or accurate as a CZ but accurate enough to 50‘. 400 rounds later it always goes bang and is my workshop gun so longest sightline is maybe 30’.

I love mine too. I bought another LR cylinder for it just for 22 shorts. That way I don't have to deal with the lead build up and then trying to get the LRs in and out.

If you haven't done it yet, take every screw out and put a dab of blue thread locker on it. I had a few fall out after some use.

    No issues since.
I shoot mine a lot. In the summer I use CCI shot shells and pepper wood bees out of the air with it.

    Mine is a hi-point 9mm carbine. I have a whole $30 in it, and it's fun.
I realize now I did not pay attention to the title. It clearly says Handgun. :ugh:

Now I would have to say my first hangun. It's a model EASA made in Italy. Sold by EAA. paid $80 bucks for it at 13 and it took a summer of hardwork to come up with that. Mowing yards, shoveling horse stalls, bailing hay for people. Of course I still had to shovel our barns and work in the junkyard still, but definitely wasn't getting paid for that stuff.
