Good for him! I would like to see the Colts get somebody with a more aggressive defensive style.

I think the reality is that the NFL is full of QB's that dink and dunk their way down the field, so why play a style of defense that lets them do just that?
I think part of the problem is, you can build a team too make the playoffs fairly easy, the hard part is building a team that can beat KC, Buffalo, Cincinnati, LAC, with stellar QB play, then beat a pounder like TN.

The AFC is going to be tough for years to come, even worse for Colts if they cannot find a QB to match these teams.

Agree...KC, Buffalo and Cincy are set to be VERY good for a long time. Titans are always going to be a tough out. Colts need to do something quick to even have a chance.

His teams were not prepared to play the final two games. Play calling is not creative, it is predictable.
I agree the last two games were very predictable in terms of play calling. I'm not sure that was a fair depiction of his coaching.
IMHO, it looked to me like he lacked confidence in Wentz and the WR's and wrapped the game plan around riding JT to keep the ball moving. I mean most of us kept saying the same thing for several games...run the damn ball. They tried to rely on that and the last two teams showed them how weak the offensive weapons the Colts have really are.

I get it, I just don't think the Colts had enough dependable offensive weapons this past season. As a result the last two games being critical to get into the playoffs, the play calling was more conservative relying on the only truly proven dependable weapon they had and that was JT's run game.
I think without the "that guy" QB, and what looks to me to be marginal WR's & TE's would lead to more unnecessary turn overs.

So who do you replace Carson “winch” with?

1: Arron Rodgers (maybe d adams with him.)
2: deshawn Watson (don’t think Houston will)
3: Jimmy G (San Fran will go with the new QBack next year)
4: Kirk Cousins (better thrower than Carson?)
5: unknown college standout (like bill b does at new england)
6: a random second string guy like gardener minshew (porn stash promo instead here)
7: Ryan fitzmagic? He has played for almost everyone else but he has issues with “chuck it and **** it”
8: Booty scooting cam newton (Indy not ready for the pimp daddy )

That’s about the only starting QB’s on the market who are better or equal to what they have.

Look at LA Rams they put the house up for sale to win this year or next. They will be renting for ten years after the next year. They needed to win the Super Bowl to make the LA experiment work for ticket sales and future earnings and fan base. Right now they are two games from pulling it off. I think they are also the odds on favorite at this time.

Can the colts sell the farm and make a living farming other peoples land? Uncle Jim has opened the checkbook. I like ballard’s picks but like many teams he has missed as many times as hit the home run. Happens. Without a big move you may be in that wild card one gamer position for a decade or more. Just good enough to get in and not good enough to advance.

I think the best bet would be to take both d Adams and A Rodgers for a two year experiment. Jimmy G would be the second best pick up. Deshawn has baggage and in playing in the AFC south. (Or riding the AFC south bench) I think Kurt cousins might be long in the tooth and Rodgers could cost as much and is better q back. Minshew might sound strange but might be strong enough to make Carson better. Cam will not work with the Indy crowd and I don’t think he can throw the ball anymore.

Now what do you do for a pass rushers a quality big wide receiver a offensive left tackle. The defense can be a couple good picks away from better than average with JT’s running game giving them some bench rest. The offense has a few holes but JT is generational until he gets a knee blown out. I like moe ally cox at tight end for a huge target but the new NFL sees the tight end position as not just a bonus blocker.
So you need pass rush o line q back wide receiver tight end and a safety. I think half the NFL needs those same positions filled.

I keep seeing Rodgers mentioned, but isn't he getting a bit long in the tooth? I mean, he's no Tom Brady. He's already doing State Farm commercials. How long until he's doing Medicare part D commercials like Namath? :):

He looked good enough this year to be a simple two year get to the bowl pick.
I think we can eliminate him as Uncle Jim wants VAx’ed players only after this years drama but maybe by next season the hype over the vax is behind the news.

So take a Rodgers off. Vax
Take off Watson as the religion thing between Frank and Carson would make a pervert (allegation) hard to sell

I don't know what this is about. :dunno:
Frank and Carson have a very similar relation in religion practices. One of the reasons Frank wanted Carson. Nothing wrong with that in my book. I think trying to replace that with someone who has possible charges against him for preverted behavior might be a no go for the Indy locker room no matter what on the field qualities mr Watson might bring.

What kind of religious practices? Are they Satanists or something? Rastafarians? I have no idea. I don't even know who Watson is, let alone his criminal history, so I'm pretty much lost with this whole thing. :):
